You are probably aware of the serious threat to the Virginia Foundation for the Humanities – the House of Delegates has voted to eliminate all funding for it as of July 1, 2011 – just over a year from now. What you may not know is that VAM’s operating support comes from the VFH, and without that support... VAM will be a far different organization than the one you have come to rely upon for professional development, resources, technical assistance, networking and leadership opportunities. Please take a moment today to call or email your state Delegate and Senator and urge them to continue funding the VFH.
